S.S. Approved: Nike Air Griffey Max 1(Hot Red)

Of course I will keep a nice collection for all my sneakerheads out there, so while I was searching around I found this beautiful colorway of some Griffeys. They are very reminiscent of the Air Max 95's in the same colorway. I think I might have to cop these myself because they are a beautiful piece of work, and I'm liking the mix up of materials on the shoe. This definitely has to be the best colorway thus far, I'm loving it. Go out and cop!

We Have Blast-Off: T-Minus 1 Week till Space Jams

Just a reminder that in exactly one week will finally get the retro of the Space Jams since 2000. This release is gonna be insane, like a Black Wednesday. I guarantee you I will be in the line for a minimum of two hours with a warm ass North Face jacket on, because I have prayed for these to release since then and it has finally been answered. The box set is crazy too, as you can see above and contains all type of exclusive stuff for the retail of $175. You could preorder them, but by this time you might as well wait until Nov 23. I would love to see these under my tree on the 25th, and the anticipation is killing me(Ahh, these are so fire, or should I say "Sole Icy"?-shout out to Bobby Fresh). Hey, but be sure to cop you a pair come next week, because these will sell out quick no doubt. Haha...Houston, we DONT have a problem(another bad pun lol), but ONE WEEK!! I'm finna get back to studying though, 1 more final.

Just for the Kids: Air Jordan 12 Grand Purple

This past Saturday saw the release of the Air Jordan 12 Grand Purple, the second to last pair of 12's to release this year. To put you up on game, the shoe contains a stitching on the side reminiscent to that of the rising sun on the Japanese Flag. As well, on the left and right side there are strips of leather on either side of the toebox(laminated on this version), and on the back the strap reads "Air Jordan: Quality Inspired By The Greatest Player Ever". Down the tounge it reads "Two 3", and the upper material used on this shoe is Nubuck.

This shoe probably looks and sounds great to you, but there's a catch: IT WAS ONLY RELEASED IN KIDS SIZES! When I had heard that news with them I was very upset, but I realized that it couldn't be that bad. I know its a lot of yall heads out there who have chicks with small feet, or kids, so this is perfect for that. Even if you plan on having kids, I suggest that you buy this shoe for a f.ly ass kid in 8 or 9 years. I know i copped my girl some (sz 5), and she loves them.

NikeID x Kobe V's

Tomorrow will reveal the premier of the Nike Zoom Kobe V, the most high-tech basketball shoe to this date, even better than the Nike Air Max Lebron VII's(shout out to legendarystatus). NikeID will let the world customize their own Kobe's on December 10th. Furthermore, they are doing something exclusive this time around and letting you add graphics to the shoe, an icy clear sole( like the Space Jams, only 2 weeks left!), and you can even speckle the midsole. All of these new features will give your K0be's their own personalized look, and all thanks to the folks at Nike hooking us up.

Just a Note

Hey guys,
I am going to be studying for a final for the rest of the week so I probably will not be posting anything new until Friday night or Saturday. Hopefully Derty will decided to finally post something to keep you interested.

Married to Savage.Semantics: Nicki Minaj

Today's Savage.Semantics wife is none other then Nicki Minaj herself. I'm sorry but even though it is two of us on the Savage.Semantics team, Nicki is all mines. This is one of the most beautiful women I have seen in my life and I love her to death. Here is her Complex Magazine interview and pics
"You may know Nicki Minaj as that girl with the curvaceous frame that's been touring with Lil' Wayne. Maybe you've listened to one of her three mixtapes. If so, you've probably got an image of who you think she is: a potty-mouthed MC using sex to sell herself to the masses.
Look harder, homie. The 24-year-old Queens, New York native may possess a gorgeous face and a body you could get lost in, but she's got more up her sleeve than diamond bracelets. With females not even part of the rap conversation these days, she's trying to make some noise and some loot. And we think she has just the right moneymaker to do it.
Complex: When people think of Nicki Minaj they envision stilettos, bustiers, and maybe a lollipop…
Nicki Minaj: This is the thing: I like being sexy when it's time to do a show, but to be honest, I hate wearing high heels, and I hate wearing anything tight. People do get taken aback when they see me in person because I'm in the jeans and the little slippers. I think it's cute when they see me transform, they see me go into my machine and come out as Nicki Minaj.
Complex: How do you transform for that special someone?
Nicki Minaj: Thigh-high boots or some real crazy pumps, some thongs, and curly hair, that's it. [Laughs.] Nothing else—nothing less, nothing more.
Complex: What is it about curly hair that makes you feel sexy?
Nicki Minaj: I feel like I'm a girl. The curly hair gives the impression that like, "Oh, I'm well-behaved," but I take the trench coat off and boom! It doesn't have to be too curly; it just looks like I did my hair.
Complex: So is romancing and seduction part of your repertoire when it comes to the bedroom?
Nicki Minaj: I don't like romancing and I don't like seduction. It's corny to me. I like role-playing, but that's not one of my characters. [Laughs.]
Complex: With all the touring you've been doing, do you have time for a boyfriend?
Nicki Minaj: I have no dating life, I can only hope and wish and imagine and fantasize. They demand too much. In life there's always going to be one thing that takes precedence, and when you're as hungry as I am you have tunnel vision. So I can't reall y cater to a dude rig ht now—I love them and I think they're cute, but I can't do what they want me to do for them right now.
Complex: Sounds like you need a vacation.
Nicki Minaj: I've always wanted to go to Hawaii. I really wa nt to go there and just lay on the beach. Then, also, I could hav e the other rap girls feed me fruit—since they don't have anything to do right now! [Laughs.] Strawberries, grapes, watermelon, and pineapple. I so know that part is going to make the interview"
